Lakeside with Jenna Shay
‘Jenna Shay’ is a painting I did a number of years ago. The setting was captured near East Texas community of Nacogdoches–on the shores of Lake Sam Rayburn. It was my first trip to East Texas and I was in awe of the tall pines that dotted the lakeside cabin property of my two friends, Jenna & Andy. I took quite a number of photos that weekend, and the inspiration for a studio painting can be seen below along with a couple additional shots of the lake’s surrounding beauty. Enjoy!
